Get motivation for the week

"When you have a dream, you've got to grab it and never let go."

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."

-Winston Churchill

A must-read book on “Productivity”

If you want to understand why we do and what we do, then you should read this book. It’s a book about how the human brain works on habit building.

I would suggest this book to everyone.

The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg

Practical Lessons from this book to implement in your life.

1) Understanding the Habit Loop.
Identify the components of the habit loop: cue, routine, and reward. Recognize cues that trigger habits, the routines they prompt, and the rewards that reinforce them.

With the help of this loop, you can intentionally create new habits or modify existing ones.

2) Harnessing the Power of Keystone Habits.
Discover keystone habits, which are small changes or routines that have a ripple effect, leading to positive changes in other areas of life or business. Identify keystone habits that align with your goals and focus on implementing them to catalyze broader improvements.

3) Implementing Habit Change Strategies:
Use the concept of habit substitution to replace undesirable habits with healthier alternatives. Experiment with different reward systems to find alternatives that satisfy the same cravings triggered by old habits.

Utilize strategies such as environment modification and habit tracking to reinforce new behaviors and overcome resistance to change.

4) Creating Habit-Centric Organizations.
Apply insights from the book to transform organizational culture and practices. Encourage employees to develop productive habits that align with company values and goals.

Foster a supportive environment that facilitates habit formation and reinforces desired behaviors among team members.

Today’s wisdom

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream."
- Malala Yousafzai

If you are thinking you are now too old to set new goals, then you may be wrong. You can learn new things at any age it doesn't matter what age you are right now. Life is about exploring and figuring out what you want and like.

Find yourself, explore, and live.
